Israeli military forces carried out targeted overnight raids on terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon late Friday. During the operation, soldiers encountered Hezbollah militants inside a building, leading to a close-quarters firefight in which two Israeli soldiers were moderately wounded.

In response, ground forces coordinated with the Israeli Air Force to strike and eliminate the militants. Weapons used by the militants were later discovered at the scene.

The wounded soldiers were evacuated to a hospital for treatment, and their families were notified. The Israeli military said it 'will continue to operate decisively against the Hezbollah terror organization.'
