Daniel Sherman, owner of the Shuva Yisrael Farm in northern Samaria, was released from the hospital three weeks after a deadly vehicle ramming attack that killed his younger brother, Yehuda. Sherman had been conducting a mounted security patrol with his 18-year-old brother when a vehicle allegedly accelerated toward them, swerved, and struck their all-terrain vehicle, throwing them off a cliff.
Yehuda was killed at the scene, while Daniel sustained a spine injury but miraculously avoided nerve damage. Their father, Yehoshua Sherman, said the family faces a long recovery but expressed gratitude, noting that Daniel is now walking on his own despite the severity of his injuries.
Daniel recalled that after regaining consciousness at the bottom of the cliff, he attempted to save his brother by opening his airway. As he did so, residents from a nearby village reportedly gathered, shouting and throwing stones. Security and rescue forces eventually evacuated the brothers, but doctors later pronounced Yehuda dead at the hospital.
