The Navy revealed that its submarine flotilla achieved unprecedented operational milestones during the current war, reaching the farthest distance in its history and operating simultaneously across three widely separated sectors. For the first time, submarines and missile boats carried out joint missions to destroy enemy air defense systems and aircraft from the sea.

In Syria, naval forces sank 15 vessels and struck dozens of medium range missiles in a rapid assault that significantly weakened most of the country’s naval capabilities. Operations against Hezbollah severely damaged its strategic coastal missile array, while a special operation led to the capture of a key operative and exposed a secret naval unit.

Naval forces also struck targets deep inside Yemen, disrupting the majority of hostile supply shipments, and supported dozens of strikes in Iran. Commandos conducted hundreds of missions, including operations in Gaza, while new ships, advanced surveillance units, and an additional submarine strengthened the fleet. Over 48 days of intense fighting, naval forces logged roughly 26,000 hours at sea and carried out more than 150 strikes.
