Early orders have opened for the new iX3, a long range electric crossover from the German manufacturer, ahead of its arrival in local showrooms in two months. Built on a dedicated electric vehicle platform, the model introduces a new design language and advanced cabin technology, including a wide panoramic display stretching across the dashboard and a large central multimedia screen.

The standout figure is an official driving range of 801 kilometers from a 108 kilowatt hour battery, currently the longest in its category. Fast charging at up to 400 kilowatt allows the battery to go from 10 percent to 80 percent in about 21 minutes, or add 370 kilometers of range in 10 minutes. The all wheel drive version arriving locally delivers 460 horsepower, accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 4.9 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 210 kilometers per hour.

The vehicle measures 4.78 meters in length with a 2.89 meter wheelbase and offers 520 liters of trunk space, though curb weight stands at 2,360 kilograms. Three trim levels are offered, starting from 490,000 shekels and reaching 545,000 shekels, with features such as large alloy wheels, a premium sound system, advanced driver assistance systems, remote parking via smartphone, and a digital key. Warranty coverage includes three years or 100,000 kilometers for the vehicle and eight years or 160,000 kilometers for the battery.
