Israel's prime minister has been diagnosed with early-stage prostate cancer, according to a medical report released by his healthcare team. The condition was discovered incidentally several months ago during routine follow-up monitoring.
Professor Popovtzer, head of the oncology division at Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem, said a 0.9-centimeter finding was identified and subsequently evaluated through comprehensive testing. The assessment confirmed that the disease was detected at a very early stage.
Doctors emphasized that this type of cancer is common, particularly among men over the age of 70, and highlighted that the early detection improves the outlook for treatment.
