Bharatiya Janata Party Member of Parliament Ravi Kishan has accused the ruling establishment in West Bengal of engaging in a 'politics of fear', alleging that voters are being subjected to intimidation and violence ahead of elections. He claimed that threats and coercive tactics are being used to influence democratic participation in several constituencies.
Ravi Kishan asserted that the public mood is shifting, with many voters determined to resist what he described as a climate of fear. According to him, people across the state are increasingly vocal about their desire for change and are unwilling to be silenced by intimidation.
He further maintained that the electorate’s response signals growing dissatisfaction and a pushback against alleged political violence. The remarks come amid heightened political activity and intensified campaigning in the state.
