Troops from the 401st Brigade operating under the 146th Division located and destroyed an approximately 80 meter long underground tunnel in southern Lebanon. The tunnel, which contained several hideouts used by Hezbollah militants, was found during operations aimed at removing threats near the Forward Defense Line.

After investigating the site and gathering intelligence, Combat Engineering forces dismantled the tunnel. The Israel Defense Forces said it will continue operations to eliminate threats to Israeli civilians and soldiers, acting in accordance with directives from the political leadership.
