War with Iran not over, enriched uranium needs to be removed, Netanyahu tells 60 Minutes

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the war with Iran has achieved significant results but is not finished, emphasizing that enriched uranium must still be removed and nuclear infrastructure dismantled. In an interview on 60 Minutes, he stated that although much of Iran’s capabilities have been degraded, enrichment sites, ballistic missile development, and regional proxy support remain active concerns.

Netanyahu argued that the most effective way to address Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile is to physically remove it, saying that if there is an agreement allowing access, 'you go in, and you take it out.' President Donald Trump said the United States is monitoring Iran’s enriched uranium and is prepared to act if intelligence indicates movement at the sites.

Netanyahu also said he intends to gradually end Israel’s reliance on United States military assistance, currently totaling 3.8 billion dollars annually. He said he has informed both President Trump and the Israeli public of his goal to reduce that support to zero over the next decade, starting immediately.
