Minister of Regional Cooperation Dudi Amsalem toured the Oz Zion and Or Meir outposts in the Binyamin region, where he met residents to hear about their security and civilian concerns. Locals stressed the strategic significance of the communities and called for strengthening Israeli presence throughout Judea and Samaria while addressing what they described as illegal Arab expansion.
Residents outlined ongoing security challenges, including shortages of fortified shelters, weapons, and regional defense personnel, along with limited infrastructure. They said these gaps complicate daily life and leave the communities vulnerable.
Amsalem pledged to examine the concerns and work with relevant authorities to advance solutions. He praised the residents as 'true pioneers' devoted to safeguarding the homeland and described settlement in Judea and Samaria as a central national and security asset.
