Israeli security forces shot and killed one masked suspect and wounded another after three individuals allegedly hurled rocks at Israeli vehicles during a counterterrorism operation near the West Bank village of Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya. The incident occurred along Route 60, a major highway in the area. Troops opened fire as the suspects targeted passing cars, and a search was launched to locate those who fled.

The violence follows a similar incident last month in which a five-year-old child was injured by shattered glass after rocks were thrown at a vehicle on Highway 60. Israeli forces conducted searches in the Madama area at the time in an effort to apprehend the suspect involved.
