Iran has reportedly escalated tensions in the Gulf by ordering a drone strike on the Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant in the United Arab Emirates, according to intelligence cited by The Jerusalem Post. Three drones approached the facility from the west, with two intercepted and one striking an external power component.
Analysts describe the attack as a calculated warning to Abu Dhabi, signaling that its deepening security cooperation with Israel could make critical infrastructure a target. The strike is seen as a significant and dangerous escalation, raising concerns about the vulnerability of high value energy facilities in the region and the risk of broader conflict.
