The targeted locations included weapons storage facilities, command centers, and other sites used to plan and carry out attacks against Israeli forces and the State of Israel.
Israeli forces also struck militants in the Cristofani Ridge area of southern Lebanon. In addition, rocket launchers that had fired toward Israeli troops operating in southern Lebanon and into Israeli territory were targeted in the strikes.
