In response, the Israel Defense Forces carried out strikes on more than 25 Hezbollah infrastructure sites across southern Lebanon over the past day. The targets included weapons storage facilities, command centers, and other sites believed to be used to plan and carry out attacks against Israeli forces and the country.
Israeli forces also targeted militants in the Cristofani Ridge area and struck rocket launchers that had fired projectiles toward Israeli troops operating in southern Lebanon and into Israeli territory.
