Israeli firefighters searched through the rubble of a partially collapsed residential building in the northern city of Haifa after it was struck by a missile fired from Iran. Three people were reported missing following the direct hit on the seven-story structure, which caused extensive structural damage.
Four people were injured in the strike, including an 82-year-old man who was initially reported in serious condition but later stabilized at a hospital. A 10-month-old baby and two other individuals suffered injuries from shrapnel and the blast. Emergency responders described significant destruction, with concrete, glass and debris scattered across the area.
The attack occurred shortly after the military detected a new wave of missiles launched from Iran. Rescue teams continued working at the scene, using flashlights to search for those believed trapped beneath the rubble as tensions between the two countries remained high following ongoing missile exchanges and airstrikes.
