The Board of Peace established by United States President Donald Trump has rejected reports that it is facing financial shortfalls. The board stated that it has no funding constraints and that all requests related to its work in Gaza have been met immediately and in full.
Earlier, Reuters reported that the board had received only a small portion of the 17 billion dollars pledged for Gaza. According to that report, the limited funds were hindering efforts to advance plans for the future of the devastated Palestinian territory.
In response, the board dismissed those claims, maintaining that funding commitments have been fully honored and that its operations are not being restricted by a lack of resources.
