The Israeli military has ordered residents of the southern Lebanon town of Deir Aames to evacuate following rocket fire launched from the area by Hezbollah.
According to a statement from military spokesman Colonel Avichay Adraee, Hezbollah's activities and the launching of rockets from the village have prompted the army to prepare action in the area. Residents have been instructed to leave their homes immediately and move at least one kilometer away.
The town lies outside the Israeli-held security zone in southern Lebanon, underscoring the widening scope of tensions along the border.
