Israeli military forces operating under the Southern Command identified several armed militants in northern Gaza near troops stationed along the Yellow Line in accordance with the ceasefire agreement. The militants were assessed as posing an immediate threat and were targeted in an aerial strike.
In a separate incident earlier Thursday, additional militants in southern Gaza were struck after reportedly transporting munitions in a manner considered dangerous to Israeli forces. One militant was killed in that operation.
The military stated that precautions were taken prior to the strikes to reduce the risk of civilian harm, including the use of precision-guided weapons and aerial surveillance. Forces remain deployed in the area and will continue operations to neutralize imminent threats.
