Pizza Hut announced it is developing a support plan for the family of Binyamin Yamano Zalka, who was murdered on the eve of Israel Independence Day at the chain’s Kfar Ganim branch in Petah Tikva. One of the main measures under consideration is the continued monthly payment of Zalka’s salary to his family, reflecting the income he would have earned.
The company said the goal is to provide financial stability and help the family cope with their loss. In addition, a dedicated support package is being prepared for employees at the branch, including psychological counseling and emotional assistance.
Zalka was killed after confronting a group of teenagers who were spraying artificial snow inside the restaurant. The situation escalated into violence, and he was fatally stabbed. Police have arrested nine suspects in connection with the case, including a minor, and the investigation remains ongoing under a court-imposed gag order.
