Four Palestinians, including a minor, have been indicted in Jerusalem on terrorism charges for allegedly planning attacks inspired by the Islamic State group. Prosecutors said the suspects, all residents of East Jerusalem, formed a cell that studied methods such as shootings, car rammings, and the use of explosive devices.
According to the indictment, the group gathered intelligence on targets including Damascus Gate in Jerusalem and Kiryat Arba near Hebron. They allegedly learned how to use weapons, planned military-style training, and sought to recruit additional members while consuming online content produced by the extremist organization.
Authorities said the case is part of a broader pattern of arrests over the past year involving individuals accused of pledging allegiance to the Islamic State group and planning attacks. Previous indictments have included suspects accused of plotting assaults on civilians and members of the Israel Defense Forces.
