Two men have been charged with religiously aggravated harassment after allegedly filming antisemitic videos in Stamford Hill, a predominantly Jewish area of north London. Police said several Jewish residents were approached, harassed and recorded for social media content during the incident on Thursday night.
Adam Bedoui, 20, and Abdelkader Amir Bousloub, 21, both from west London, have been charged under legislation covering religiously aggravated intentional harassment and public order offences. They have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Thames Magistrates' Court.
Five men were initially arrested in connection with the investigation. Three other suspects, aged 20 and 21, have been released on bail while enquiries continue. Prosecutors said the charges were deemed to be in the public interest, and police stated they would not tolerate hate crime against local communities.
