The Israeli military said it eliminated a Hezbollah launch cell in southern Lebanon after rockets were fired at Israeli troops operating in the area. Soldiers from the 91st Galilee Regional Division identified the cell shortly after the attack.
According to the military, the operatives were attempting to transport a rocket launcher on a truck when they were spotted by ground forces. The Israeli Air Force then carried out a coordinated strike, killing the members of the cell and destroying the launcher.
The military said no Israeli troops were injured during the incident.
