During the conflict, intelligence chief David Barnea also reportedly traveled to the Emirates at least twice to coordinate military operations. The visits were said to reflect deepening security ties between Jerusalem and Abu Dhabi.

Israel deployed missile defense batteries and military personnel to help defend the Gulf state from Iranian attacks, while the Emirates reportedly carried out strikes inside Iran, including against a refinery.
