The United Arab Emirates has denied reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the country in March during the war with Iran. The statement came after the Israeli prime minister's office said that such a visit had taken place.
In a statement, the foreign ministry said that the reported visit did not occur and that there had been no visits by any Israeli military delegation. It added that any claims regarding unannounced visits or undisclosed arrangements are entirely unfounded unless officially announced by the relevant authorities.
The ministry reaffirmed that relations between the United Arab Emirates and Israel are public and conducted within the framework of the Abraham Accords, stressing that ties are not based on non-transparent or unofficial arrangements.
