Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem has called on Lebanese authorities to withdraw from direct negotiations with Israel, describing the talks as completely unacceptable and beneficial only to Israel. His remarks come ahead of a planned fourth round of discussions in Washington early next month.
Qassem urged officials to halt the dialogue and avoid what he portrayed as concessions that would strengthen Israel's position. He also warned against aligning with the United States in a way that, in his view, would undermine Lebanon's interests.
