Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the ceasefire with Iran is temporary and that Israel is prepared to resume fighting if necessary. He praised Israeli citizens and soldiers for their resilience, stating that the country has achieved significant military successes and is now stronger, while Iran is weaker than before.
Netanyahu emphasized that Israel still has objectives to complete and will pursue them either through an agreement or by restarting the war. He stressed that the ceasefire was coordinated and is not the end of the conflict, but a pause aimed at securing Israel’s broader strategic goals.
He thanked President Donald Trump for his support, saying their partnership has reshaped the Middle East. Netanyahu claimed Israel has severely damaged Iran’s missile production capabilities and nuclear infrastructure, set back its nuclear program by years, and will ensure remaining enriched materials are removed, either diplomatically or through renewed military action. He also clarified that the ceasefire does not apply to Hezbollah and that Israeli strikes against the group are ongoing.
