United States President Donald Trump is meeting with his top advisers to address Iran's renewed closure of the Strait of Hormuz, according to Channel 12 news. The move comes after Iran reversed an earlier decision to reopen the strategic waterway, reinstating restrictions following Washington's refusal to lift its blockade on Iran-linked shipping.

Trump has reportedly held recent phone conversations with Pakistan's army chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, as well as with Iranian officials, as tensions escalate. The developments add to growing regional uncertainty tied to shipping security and military activity.

The report also states that Iran threatened to resume missile fire at Israel if a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon does not hold. A 10-day truce between the two sides began early Friday morning.
