When a two-week ceasefire between Iran and the United States began on April 8, Tehran was believed to have access to about half of its ballistic missile launchers. Since then, it has reportedly recovered around 100 additional launchers that had been buried underground, increasing the number of operational launchers to about 60 percent of pre-war levels.
Iran is also working to retrieve missile stockpiles buried under debris from strikes carried out by the United States and Israel. Once recovery efforts are complete, intelligence officials believe Iran could regain access to missile reserves totaling roughly 70 percent of its pre-war inventory.
