Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf said that Iran will not engage in negotiations under threat and is prepared to reveal 'new cards' on the battlefield. In a post published early Tuesday, he stated that Iran would not accept talks conducted in the shadow of pressure.
Ghalibaf accused United States President Donald Trump of violating a ceasefire by imposing what he described as a siege. He claimed that the American leader is seeking either Iran’s surrender or a pretext to resume war.
On Monday, Trump referred to the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz as 'absolutely destroying Iran' in a post on Truth Social. He added that the blockade would remain in place until a deal is reached. The situation remains ongoing.
