A senior Israel Defense Forces official said there would be no changes to Israel’s home front guidelines following an Iranian attack on the United Arab Emirates and Oman. The official stated that the military is closely monitoring developments and remains at a high level of readiness.
According to the official, air defense systems and offensive capabilities are fully prepared, maintaining the same posture adopted after the recent ceasefire decision. The military emphasized that the public would be informed immediately if any adjustments to instructions become necessary.
While some observers have speculated about a broader return to conflict, Iran’s recent actions appear to reflect a calculated and limited escalation. By targeting the United Arab Emirates and Oman rather than Israel, Tehran may be seeking to impose costs on the United States regional alliance without triggering a large-scale retaliation.
