The Israel Defense Forces reported that troops from the 146th Division are continuing operations in southern Lebanon aimed at removing threats to Israeli civilians. The activity is taking place south of the Forward Defense Line and focuses on dismantling militant infrastructure.
According to the military, five underground tunnels have been dismantled since the start of the operation, along with thousands of additional militant sites. More than 250 militants were killed in close-quarters combat and aerial strikes.
Forces also located and seized hundreds of weapons, including drones, explosives, anti-tank missiles, and rocket-propelled grenades. The military stated it will continue operations against threats targeting civilians and soldiers, in line with directives from the political leadership.
