Late on Wednesday night, a Hezbollah operative launched rockets that landed near Israeli soldiers operating in southern Lebanon. No injuries were reported. Newly released footage shows the method used in the attack, including the placement of the launcher.
The Israeli military said the launcher had been concealed inside a civilian structure in the Jwaya area. In response, forces carried out an airstrike on the building, killing the operative and destroying the launcher. Secondary explosions following the strike indicated that weapons had been stored inside.
In a separate incident hours later, additional rockets were fired toward Israeli troops in the same region. The projectiles again landed nearby without causing injuries, and the military quickly struck the launcher used in the attack.
