Anti-Israel activists staged protests outside a synagogue in Brooklyn that was hosting an Israeli real estate exposition, following a similar demonstration in Manhattan days earlier. Protesters accused Israel of starving Gaza and objected to the promotion of properties in communities beyond the green line, chanting slogans and attempting to push past police barricades.

The organizing group, Palestinian Assembly for Liberation Al-Awda in New York and New Jersey, said the events promoted the sale of homes in settlements in the occupied West Bank and alleged violations of international law and housing discrimination statutes. The event organizers rejected intimidation efforts and said the gathering would proceed as planned.

Hundreds of police officers were deployed to keep demonstrators across the street from the synagogue. Scuffles broke out between protesters, counter demonstrators, and law enforcement, and one officer was hospitalized with a leg injury. No arrests were reported.

Several local and state officials condemned the protests and the rhetoric used by demonstrators, describing the actions as attempts to intimidate Jewish residents. The city mayor also criticized the real estate event itself, citing opposition to the promotion of property sales in West Bank settlements.
