The Israel Defense Forces destroyed a Hamas weapons storage facility in the central Gaza Strip late Tuesday night. According to the military, the weapons stored at the site were intended to be used against Israeli soldiers operating near the Yellow Line and against Israeli civilians.

The military said the strike was carried out to eliminate an immediate threat. Before the operation, steps were taken to reduce the risk of civilian harm, including advance warnings, the use of precise munitions, and aerial surveillance.

Forces under the Southern Command remain deployed in line with the ceasefire agreement and will continue operations aimed at removing potential threats in the area.
