A senior branch of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has issued a sharp warning amid rising tensions with the United States and Israel, insisting that Tehran's military threats must be taken seriously. The statement argues that repeated confrontations have undermined assumptions in Washington that a swift and decisive campaign against Iran would be possible.
The group cited what it described as unsuccessful attacks in June 2025 and February 2026, referring to earlier military operations targeting Iranian-linked facilities. It also pointed to the reported collapse of a naval blockade in April as further evidence that Western pressure efforts have not achieved their intended goals.
The remarks signal growing strain in the region, with Iran portraying recent developments as proof that foreign military and economic strategies against it have failed to deliver meaningful results.
