Border czar Tom Homan tells Texas Democrat to 'bring it' after her chilling threat to jail ICE agents

Tom Homan, serving as border policy chief, fired back at Texas Democratic congressional candidate Maureen Galindo after she pledged to turn a federal immigration detention center into a prison for former Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers and what she called 'American Zionists.' Speaking on Fox News, Homan dismissed her remarks and challenged her to 'bring it,' saying threats would not deter ongoing immigration enforcement efforts.

Galindo, who is competing in a primary runoff, initially posted on social media that she would repurpose the Karnes detention facility and made additional inflammatory comments that sparked widespread backlash. She later clarified that she did not call for Jews to be placed in internment camps, but instead said she wanted to imprison wealthy individuals she accuses of supporting abusive detention systems. She also claimed she received death threats following the controversy.

Homan said the administration would continue its immigration crackdown despite criticism, crediting President Donald Trump for what he described as historic border security achievements and record enforcement actions. Galindo's statements drew bipartisan condemnation, with several prominent Democrats distancing themselves from her campaign, while she accused national party officials of working against her candidacy.
