Final warning? Trump's 'Adios' threat to Iran as ceasefire talks continue

United States President Donald Trump issued a renewed public warning to Iran by sharing an artificial intelligence generated image captioned 'Adios', depicting a drone strike on Iranian boats. The post came as ceasefire negotiations between Washington and Tehran appeared to move closer to a potential breakthrough aimed at ending months of regional conflict and reopening the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump has repeatedly used similar artificial intelligence imagery in recent weeks, including scenes of missile strikes and warnings that 'the clock is ticking' for Iran, as talks have stalled and resumed. Despite signs of diplomatic progress, Iranian military leaders have continued to warn of severe retaliation if hostilities resume.

While American officials have expressed optimism about a possible agreement, Iranian authorities have stressed that no commitments have been made regarding Tehran's nuclear programme. Reports suggest nuclear discussions could be delayed for up to 60 days after any initial understanding, even as both sides signal that a deal may be close.
