Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the war with Iran is not over, warning that significant threats remain despite what he described as major achievements. He stated that Iran still possesses enriched uranium that 'has to be taken out' of the country, along with remaining nuclear infrastructure and military capabilities.
In an interview with a United States television news program, Netanyahu said enrichment sites must be dismantled and Iran’s support for regional proxy groups and ballistic missile production must be addressed. While he did not clarify whether he was referring to Iran’s entire stockpile of enriched uranium or only highly enriched material, he emphasized that removing it is a critical mission.
Netanyahu suggested the uranium could be physically removed either through an agreement or potentially by force, though he declined to discuss specific military plans or timelines. He indicated that the United States is supportive of ensuring the material is eliminated, describing the effort as a matter of great importance.
