The Israeli military has installed large quantities of mesh netting on vehicles and at military posts to counter the threat posed by Hezbollah’s first person view drones. So far, 158,000 square meters of netting have been supplied, with plans underway to procure an additional 188,000 square meters.

According to the military, the total amount of netting purchased is equivalent to the area of around 20 soccer fields. Images released by the army show the mesh being deployed on armored vehicles and fixed positions, with the drones featured in the photos used as part of testing efforts to evaluate the protective measures.
