Many municipalities are expected to be classified as 'green' following the ceasefire with Iran, allowing schools to reopen as early as tomorrow, according to estimates from the Ministry of Education. Several cities have already confirmed that classes will resume, signaling a broad return to routine across central Israel.
Tel Aviv announced that educational activities will restart at 10:00 a.m., including after-school programs. Ramat Gan officials said the city has returned to green status with no restrictions, enabling a full return to routine activities. Hod Hasharon, Kfar Saba, and Givatayim also confirmed preparations for reopening, with some schools operating on adjusted morning schedules.
Rishon LeZion and other nearby communities said studies will resume in the morning hours, including after-school frameworks. Additional municipalities, such as Mevaseret Zion, are working to reopen as soon as possible, while Haifa stated it will continue to follow Home Front Command guidance and provide updates once decisions are finalized.
