Israel has barred Spain from participating in the Civil-Military Coordination Center in Kiryat Gat, a body established under President Donald Trump's peace plan for the Gaza Strip. The decision was announced by Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the move was prompted by what it described as the 'anti-Israel obsession' of the Spanish government led by Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez. The ministry said Spain's actions have seriously harmed Israel's interests, as well as those of the United States, including during the war against Iran.
