Cyera has acquired Israeli automated data lake startup Ryft for an estimated 100 to 130 million dollars, strengthening its position in data security for enterprises expanding their use of artificial intelligence. The deal reflects growing demand for tools that help organizations manage and secure rapidly increasing data access driven by advanced technologies.
Founded in 2024, Ryft developed a platform that enables automated, efficient and secure data management tailored to companies adopting artificial intelligence systems and autonomous agents. Its technology provides fast and secure data access while automatically analyzing how data is used across an organization, including by employees and automated systems. The platform also automates authorization, classification and optimization processes.
Ryft has raised 8 million dollars from investors including Index Ventures and Bessemer Venture Partners and serves international clients such as Sonos, Unity and Voodoo. Following the acquisition, Ryft chief executive Yossi Reitblat will lead artificial intelligence security efforts at Cyera, and the startup's 15 employees will join a new expert group focused on the intersection of artificial intelligence, data and information security.
