A new Channel 12 poll shows that a joint electoral list formed by former prime minister Naftali Bennett and Opposition Leader Yair Lapid, running under the name 'Together,' would win 26 seats if elections were held now, making it the largest party in the parliament. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud would follow closely with 25 seats.
Despite the new alliance leading as a single party, the broader political blocs remain largely unchanged. Netanyahu's right-wing and religious bloc would secure 50 seats, while Zionist opposition parties would reach 60 and Arab-majority parties 10, leaving neither side with a governing majority of 61 seats.
The poll also found that if centrist leader Gadi Eisenkot were to join Bennett and Lapid, their united list could win as many as 41 seats, though the overall balance between blocs would remain similar. Other surveys published the same day showed slightly different seat distributions but similarly indicated a political deadlock, with no clear path to forming a government without support from Arab-majority parties.
Elections are scheduled to take place by October 2026 at the latest.
