Three reservists from the Israel Defense Forces were wounded on Saturday by explosive drones near the northern town of Shlomi, close to the Lebanon border. One soldier was seriously wounded, while a reserve officer and another fighter sustained moderate injuries.
The attack was attributed to Hezbollah and came amid continued cross-border hostilities. Lebanese sources also reported seven deaths following Israeli strikes, including incidents that reportedly occurred outside the United Nations-demarcated blue line.
The escalation took place just days before a third round of negotiations between Israel and Lebanon scheduled to be held in Washington, as diplomatic efforts continue alongside ongoing military exchanges.
