Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with leaders of the Druze and Circassian communities at the Dead Sea, emphasizing that his foremost mission is to ensure life and security. He said he is committed to using all the power of the State of Israel to achieve this goal and highlighted the bravery of Druze soldiers and the sacrifices of bereaved families.
The meeting included senior community and local government representatives, where Netanyahu reaffirmed his longstanding commitment to the Druze and Circassian communities. He underscored their contributions to the country’s defense and praised their leadership and valor.
Netanyahu also discussed ongoing diplomatic and security developments, including conversations with United States President Donald Trump regarding Iran. Trump described Iran’s latest proposal as unacceptable, while Netanyahu noted that although progress has been made in degrading Iran’s enriched uranium capabilities, further work remains.
