A new 2026 Voice of Students report by StandWithUs United Kingdom warns that antisemitism on university campuses across the United Kingdom is escalating, with academic staff increasingly involved in fostering or legitimizing hostility toward Jewish students. The report describes campuses as failing to address anti Zionism as a modern form of antisemitism and presents testimonies that depict a worsening climate compared to the previous year.

Jewish students reported being threatened with violence, harassed, and physically attacked. One student received anonymous calls threatening to 'blow up' the Jewish Society and was told the callers were 'coming to get' him, while another said a professor physically assaulted him while shouting abuse. Others described being nearly pushed down stairs, forced to write essays condemning the display of an Israeli flag, and hearing lecturers justify hostage taking. Several students said they no longer feel safe attending classes or expressing their identity on campus.

Eleven parliamentarians from multiple political parties called the surge in campus antisemitism a national crisis and urged university leaders to account for their responses before parliamentary committees. They also pressed the Prime Minister to clarify before Parliament that anti Zionism constitutes antisemitism under existing definitions and should be prosecuted accordingly. The report argues that universities have the authority to act but lack the will, warning that continued inaction risks further radicalization and harm to Jewish students.
